I had been following Gilles and his round-the-world sailing trip for a long time. I hadn't been able to join him on other legs of the journey, but I did join him for one of the last parts of his trip: from Cebu to Coron in the Philippines. Two weeks of coastal sailing, avoiding storms and focussed fishermen.
